What exactly is the wildebeest migrations ?
The wildebeest migration is a dramatic story. It takes place within Kenya and Tanzania and is the greatest wildlife show on earth. Between the open plains of Serengeti and the Masai Mara, thousands and thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate to greener pastures as seasons change and circle of life and death continues. Predators closely follow the wildebeest migrations waiting for an oppunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories.. The most interesting part is when you watch them as they cross the Mara River. The first ones to jump into the river are trampled upon to death by the following multitude. OUR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
All Seasons Safaris & Tours in conjunction with First Love Global Center runs the Sinai Children orphanage previously situated within the slums of Sinai but has since been relocated to the neighboring Don Holm estate. The orphanage has 150 children who are either HIV orphaned, ex street boys and girls who have been rehabilitated and absorbed back to society while others are from extremely poor backgrounds whose parents cannot afford basics. We clothe the children and have regular feeding programs. In addition we try to connect and re-unite the ex – street children who have been rehabilitated to their families.
This is in line with our corporate social responsibility. Many of our clients are either good or are involved in charity work. So at some point in their itinerary, they do propose to visit the orphanage to either give or pledge financial and spiritual help. In mid – September, we took a group of visiting American preachers who pledged to alleviate the water problem for the orphanage by financing the digging of 2 wells. At the same time, they pledged to build a dormitory for the children.
Also, ‘All Seasons Safaris & Tours’ is a member of Eco – Tourism Society of Kenya. Here All Seasons Safaris & Tours has signed a declaration to observe the highest tourism practices and protect the environment. We also have sponsored many environmental clean up days and tree plantings.
